the ANGEL FINGERPRINTS NEWS, an e-zine newsletter dedicated to sharing stories
of people who are leaving their own unique "angel fingerprints" on
the world as well as information to make your life on earth more joy-filled. It
is our intent to share the work and passions of those we feel are leaving their
own unique and beautiful "angel fingerprints" on the world.

THE ROAD TO PEACE by Sharon Kay
Do you want peace, instead of war? The best way to create peace in the world is
to create peace in your own life. Turn off the TV news? Focus on whatever
brings you joy and peace.... music, art, children, nature, pets, friends, and
family. Focus on love and compassion. Remember, "all is well", no
matter what things look like... and you will change the world.
Some say, "you are in denial.... war and fear is everywhere." My
reply is, "what do you want? war and fear? or peace and love? Which feels
better? It is all up to you. You get to choose!"
Great teachers have taught that "what we focus on expands." If we
focus on war, anger and hatred - all faces of FEAR, we get more of this. Is
this really what we want?
Fear begets fear! Anger begets anger! Hatred begets hatred! Attack begets
attack!
We are powerful creators of our reality - each and every one of us. We have the
power to create peace in our hearts... and that is all that really matters. In
the Unified Field of All Possibilities, Dr. Deepak Chopra tells us that we get
to choose what we want by what we are thinking...and feeling... all the time...
every moment of our life.
Change your mind and your feelings.... and you will change the world!
These words from James Twyman came as I finished writing this article:
"I have an idea that I want to share with you. We have nearly 50,000
people on our present e-mail list. I believe that if all of you would choose to
dedicate yourself to creating peace in the world, then we could have a massive
worldwide impact as 'Spiritual Warriors.' Scientists have already proven that
small numbers of dedicated people are capable of shifting the planet in
significant ways.
I am not kidding about this. It is time for us to
create a New World, and we must work together to do this. 100,000 Spiritual
Warriors by the end of the year poised to Pray Peace at any given moment. This
is how we can change the world, I believe, and I hope you do too. It would be
like an army of inner peace soldiers, the strongest army in the world."

IV. JUST FOR WRITERS
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Have you always WANTED to write? Do you have a book in you that is bursting to
come forth? Do you feel unable to start or just can't seem to find the time?
As an author of four published books and five books awaiting publication, I
will share with you that I never really intended to write any of them. In 1991,
my counselor encouraged me to keep a journal to write my feelings as I
proceeded with therapy. For years I had kept a diary of dates and events but I
had never kept a journal of my feelings, thoughts and dreams......... or just to
write.
If you are serious about writing, I suggest that you get a copy of THE ARTIST'S
WAY by Julia Cameron and begin by writing "MORNING PAGES" - 3 pages
every morning. Write just to write... with no expectations.... with no
agenda.... with no judgment.... JUST WRITE!!! WRITE every day!!! Then throw the
pages away or burn them! Sometimes there will be a gem that you may want to
record in your journal, but mostly you are "clearing the sludge out of
your pipes". If you will go through Julia's book and do the exercises,
everything in your life will change.
In my experience, books come in words, phrases, ideas, sentences... in RANDOM
ORDER. They do not come in organized, grammatically correct, perfectly spelled
chapters. This is what editors are for, so don't take away their jobs or
destroy your writing with "perfection". Just write... DAILY... just
write.... NOT a book... NOT a chapter... Just WRITE!!!! Let your Spirit... Your
CREATIVE SELF ... flow through you.... on napkins, on scrap paper, on your
hand, on deposit slips, on anything available.... and if you like what you
write... then record it in your journal.
I especially like the hardbound, full-sized, sketchbooks I find at the chain
bookstores for a journal. They travel well and there is space to sketch ideas,
draw pictures and write in any direction. I use colored pens and pencils, paste
in pictures, copy inspirational poems or paste in quotes from others. My
journal is my "writing sandbox" where I PLAY with ideas...
thoughts... plots... feelings. Make writing a joy of your life... like
breathing!!! And magically, when we ALLOW our creative, child-like self to
PLAY.... Miracles happen!!! Books may magically write themselves when we get
out of the way and let our Spirits PLAY!!!
